Platforms
Foundation work does not sit in a vacuum. We ground it in the platforms that operators, data centers, and OEMs actually deploy — and we collaborate upstream with the projects that built them.
The Foundation publishes specs, tools, and reference architectures. Those artefacts are only useful if they meet the platforms our members are already shipping. That means two things at the same time: we run our own platform integration work across the wired edge and the data center, and we collaborate upstream with the open-source communities whose work we build on.
Below are the two platform tracks currently in active development.
Data Centers
Enable storage accelerators and deterministic connectivity across core and edge data centers — bridging open standards into deployable, operator-grade architectures.

Carrier-grade, open-source CPE is where the wired edge meets the home. Our collaboration with the prpl Foundation integrates wired-technology reach into prplOS and prplMesh — and into the AI-enhanced service layer above them.
